Below is the schedule of the upcoming High Holy Days and our KBA service schedule. Note that Erev Rosh Hashanah and Erev Yom Kippur/Kol Nidre will be via Zoom only as World Life Church has other activities scheduled in the sanctuary on those evenings.
Rosh Hashanah:
– Erev Rosh Hashanah service: Friday, September 11, at 7:30 p.m. Zoom only (no in-person service).
– Rosh Hashanah: Saturday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m. in-person and via live stream. No Torah classes that afternoon.
Yom Kippur:
– Erev Yom Kippur/Kol Nidre: Sunday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom only (no in-person service).
– Yom Kippur: Monday, September 21, at 11:00 a.m., in-person and via live stream, followed by a short Yizkor service. We will have afternoon activities lined up for those who want to stay as we fast and prepare for the evening’s Ne’ilah/Closing of the Gates service and break-the-fast meal. The Ne’ilah service will begin around 6:30 p.m., with the meal to start around 7:00 p.m.
Sukkot:
– Begins Saturday, September 26. Service at 11:00 a.m. No afternoon Torah classes on this day, but everyone is invited to hang around after oneg to help us decorate our sukkah.
– Evening activity and cookout (weather permitting): Tuesday, September 29. Details to be announced shortly.
– Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah: Saturday, October 3, at 11:00 a.m.
The days for 2026 when no work is to be done are listed below. All but one (Yom Kippur) is on a Saturday.
– September 21 (Yom Kippur)
– September 26 (1st day of Sukkot)
– October 3 (8th day of Sukkot)
