Meet Our Rabbi

Rabbi Rene’ Jaco and Rebbetzin Ana Jaco

Rabbi René Oswaldo Jaco and Rebbetzin Ana Jaco have been believers in Yeshua as their Messiah for more than 20 years.

Before moving to Georgia in 2006, they lived in New York for many years and were part of a Messianic Jewish Synagogue in Plainview, NY, Congregation Shuvah Yisrael.  While there, they participated in a marriage ministry called “The Couples Club,” where they committed to changing their hearts, and also renewed their marriage and lives back to the Lord.

Rabbi René was the translator/interpreter of Congregation Shuvah Yisrael in New York.  In addition, he participated in different Messianic Yeshivot in the states of New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.  After relocating to Georgia, he served as the liaison and leader of the Hispanic ministry (which included being the translator/interpreter) at another Messianic synagogue in the metro-Atlanta area, where he also served as a Rabbi for many years prior to joining Kehillah B’nei Abraham.  He also taught as part of a Spanish radio program (La Hora Mesiánica, a Spanish-speaking version of The Messianic Hour) on Radio Luz for approximately one year.

Rabbi René and Rebbetzin Ana were blessed with two awesome children:  one boy and one girl.  Sadly, they lost their first born, René Ricardo [alav ha-shalom–Peace be upon Him], in 2020.

They love the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, His Messiah, and His Scriptures (from Genesis to Revelation).  They are committed to the God of Israel, family, work, and KBA, and have a mutual vision of sharing the Good News of Salvation to both the Jewish people and the Nations, believing that the Torah and the message of Salvation is for Jews and Gentiles alike, just as it was in the First Century Community of believers.  They are convinced it is possible today for both Jews and Gentiles to worship the Lord of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, together as one, and to follow the teachings of Yeshua HaMashiach, who is God’s Salvation for everyone.
