Shabbat

Shabbat is a special time, and at KBA we believe in celebrating it in a way that truly sets the day apart from the six regular days of work.

Our celebration begins on Friday evenings as we meet together via Zoom to usher in Shabbat with the traditional candle lighting just before sunset EST/EDT each week. We follow the candle lighting with the traditional liturgy and prayers.

Our Shabbat Shacharit service is held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday mornings in-person and via live stream. If you are interested in joining us in person, please click here. You can join via live stream by clicking on the live stream link at the top of our Home Page.

We love studying and digging deeper into G-d’s Word, and offer Torah classes that meet both in person and via Zoom at 3:00 p.m. each Saturday to do just that. See “Education” for more information about our Torah classes.

Each week after sunset EST/EDT we close out Shabbat via Zoom, singing, lighting our Havdalah candles, and reciting the traditional liturgy.

We would love to have you join us in our weekly celebration of Shabbat. Just send us an email expressing your interest in doing so by clicking on the “Contact” link at this site and we will add you to our distribution list to receive the service times for candle lighting and Havdalah each week.
